HMS Glory was launched on 27 November 1943 at Harland and Wolff, Belfast. HMS Glory was launched by Lady Cynthia Mary Brooke, wife of Northern Ireland’s Prime Minister.
She was towed to her fitting out quay and was officially commissioned on 21 February 1945.
