Whilst we sailed on board we conducted a “Crossing the Line” ceremony. This is a ceremony that dates back to the 18th Century in the Royal Navy. The members of the crew who have not “Crossed the Line” are rounded up before undertaking an Initiation Ceremony before King Neptune and his Court. This involves a ritual dunking in sea water.
